The Good: LEGAL immigration. It brings in the “best and the brightest” from around the world. It has quotas so as to not sink the greatest lifeboat on the planet, the United States of America.
The Bad: ILLEGAL immigration. It brings in folks without security checks, without health checks, without papers, without jobs, without proof they can stay off welfare. And to add insult to injury, these undocumented immigrants come in without a respect for our laws and language.
The Ugly: Elected officials that support ILLEGAL immigrants, also known as the UNDOCUMENTED or ILLEGAL aliens.
These elected officials are encouraging lawlessness by aiding and abetting lawbreakers, in my opinion. To thwart the federal government’s laws on immigration by refusing to address the illegal immigrant issue should be a crime and the elected officials that support or create sanctuary city policies should be brought before the courts and tried.
The city council says “. . .that City (San Jose) will not report law abiding persons to federal immigration agencies…,” i.e., illegal immigrants get a “free pass,” in my opinion, to invade our city. With 180,000 illegal aliens living in Santa Clara County, how many of those 180,000 live in San Jose? Elected officials create sanctuary cities without the support of the folks that elected them in my opinion.
For example, did San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed, Vice-Mayor Madison Nguyen or then council members Xavier Campos, Judy Chirco, Kansen Chu, Rose Herrera, Ash Kalra, Sam Liccardo, Nancy Pyle have the voters of San Jose vote on sanctuary city policies? Answer: Nope
San Jose’s elected leaders are supporting illegal immigrants, yet the city doesn’t have money to support its own city services. We have one budget deficit after another. We have the worst roads in the nation for any city of 500,000 or more. We are a job poor city. We are laying off police, fire fighters and city staffers.
Yet the city welcomes illegal aliens. “Ain’t right according to many lawful immigrants, US citizens and local taxpayers. . .” Illegal immigrants take jobs away from lawful residents, drive on our broken roads and send their kids to taxpayer supported schools.
And our elected officials condone these illegal aliens. In my opinion, these elected officials should hide their face in shame. Supporting folks who broke our laws staying here illegally does a disservice to folks who honorably obey our laws.
The city officials say they support illegal aliens for public safety reasons, so that they can rely on the illegal aliens to inform on criminals and not fear being deported. As I see it, the elected officials are rewarding the informers, snitches or stoolies in the illegal immigrant community.
How many jurors would give creditability to a snitch, much less one that doesn’t respect our laws on immigration? Would you?
When you see names on the ballot of these officials that voted to defend illegal immigrants, think twice: Chuck Reed, Madison Nguyen, Xavier Campos, Judy Chirco, Kansen Chu, Rose Herrera, Ash Kalra, Sam Liccardo, and Nancy Pyle.
Do you want elected officials that have respect for law and order or officials that support illegal immigrants that don’t respect our laws? Remember, these city officials go on to higher office carrying their perverted views on law and order and supporting illegal immigration.
Stop them at the city level before they become county supervisors, state legislators or US Congress members.
The future of San Jose and the United States is at stake.
